I think i answered well overall but there was a lack of media terminology concerning the multiple types of reading.


- Now look at question 4. Write a definition of vertical integration plus the benefits of it to     revise this key industry terminology. 

vertical integration is when one conglomerate owns different companies at the same level of distrubution.


-  Finally, look at your 20-mark essay - question 6.  Then, write a new essay plan for this question

i would start by stating my opinion

then i would discribe what about  i daniel blake made me come to my decsion 

i would describe the same about black widow

finally i would summarise my overall point.

Stranger things analysis  LIGHTING: At the opening of the trailer ,we can see that the lights are flickering and the scene is quite dim. As the lights continue to flicker the shot follows a scared scientist as he makes his way through the laboratory. From this i can see that the flickering lights add an eerie,scary and dangerous vibe to the scene because  we can obviously see that the lights aren't working which adds a sense of uncertainty . The last part of the trailer focuses on the four boys that are in their friends basement playing games. The lights are warm and soft for most of the scene,which gives the audience a feel of safety .   1) What is the preferred reading of a media text? This is the message/ideology/belief that the producers want the audience to believe . 2) What is the oppositional reading of a media text ? This is when the consumer takes away an opposite message to what the producers intended.
