The hunger games:catching fire In the picture , the first thing i can notice is the main protagonist  ( katniss everdeen ) placed at the centre . This emphasises that she is the main character and that the story is centred around her . as she is the main character she has an icon in the form of a badge / pin . it is in the shape of a mocking jay . This is symbolic as the mocking jay represents defiance and rebellion , this links to the hunger games b ecause the inhabitants of the districts and the "tributes" decide to rebel against the capitol . we can see that the pin is engulfed in flames. This could connote violence, war, conflict and bloodshed. the text at the top relays the message "remember who the enemy is" this makes the audience feel a sense of thrill and excitement to find out what happens next.
